SPORT AT MOUNT SINAI COLLEGE

Our comprehensive physical education program is an integral part of the curriculum from ELC to Year 6.

Our commitment to nurturing physical health, fitness, and overall well-being is a cornerstone of our educational philosophy. Students enjoy many opportunities to engage in sports, fostering a culture of participation and personal growth. Our curriculum integrates a comprehensive physical education program, emphasising engagement, striving for personal bests, and cultivating positive attitudes towards sports

The College’s students have the opportunity to compete in a range of team sports including netball, Oz-Tag, cricket, T-ball, AFL and European handball. Major annual carnivals like swimming, cross country, and athletics carnivals complement these team activities, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents.

Mount Sinai students continually experience success as they strive to participate in the regional A.S.I.S.S.A. (All Suburbs Independent Schools Sports Association) and State C.I.S. (Combined Independent Schools) championships and teams. Beyond trophies and medals, sports profoundly shape character, discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Certainly winning counts, but it is how you play the game that makes you a legend!
