CHILD CARE EDUCATORS

Mount Sinai College Early Learning Centre is growing, and we need people to join our team of long-standing staff.

Positions available:

    • Position 1: Diploma-qualified Childcare Educator. Salary Range $60,102 to $72,886
    • Position 2: Certificate 3 Childcare educator. Salary Range $59,459 to 62,303
    • Position 3: Trainee – Begin your journey with us! Anyone interested in starting a Certificate III. Salary Range $53,773 to $55,079 + Course fees covered.

    LEARNING SUPPORT - SCHOOL ASSISTANTS LEVEL 4 
    Mount Sinai College, located in Maroubra, Sydney, is seeking passionate and dedicated teacher aides to work with students with additional learning needs. These part-time positions are 5 days per week, school hours (term time only), commencing from Term 1 2024 on a contract position until the 17 December 2024, with the possibility of extension.

    Specific duties/responsibilities


    - Support students in the classroom & playground to achieve their learning, social and emotional goals
    - 1:1, small group, (in class/ withdrawal) intervention
    - Management of student health needs – training will be provided
    - Work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
    - Planning and organisation of small group activities
    - Preparation of resources
    - Some off-site travel may be required for excursions and extra-curricular activities

    Essential/ desirable requirements, skills and qualifications


    - Demonstrated ability to follow direction and prioritise
    - Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel
    - Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
    - Experience working in a classroom environment
    - Ability to show intiative
    - Certificate III in Education Support and/or experience working with students with additional learning needs
    - Experience working with children with Autism would be advantageous
    - Adherence to relevant school policies and ethos will be required
    - Working with Children Check clearance
    - First Aid Training
